Well, lxpanel with gtk+3 needs also libwnck-3. I think I'll give up for
now... lxde works well with what is in the book. I'll make another ticket
for 8.5: move lxde to GTK+3. When that new ticket is done, this one will
hve to be closed "overcome by events
