Yes. To the point that I guess I just need to give up trying to figure out what you're trying to say. :-) > gtk-doc refuses to build using the instructions in 6.0pre1...maybe the > symlink will fix it without the catalog entry. I can remove the text in head as suggested in > the original comment, but I'm not sure what should go into 6.0. I never noticed this before because I've always created a 'current' rewrite statement pointing to my most current *locally-installed* version of the stylesheets. So GTK-Doc as always worked. But just recently the 'current' rewrite statement was removed from the BLFS instructions (not sure why) and now GTK-Doc doesn't build. I think we need to add a 'current' rewrite statement to the XSL stylesheets instructions, or to GTK-Doc. Going on hazy memory of the last few messages from the various folks on this subject, it seems the consensus was to re-add the 'rewrite' statements back into the XSL stylesheets. Kinda sucks that GTK-Doc is broken as is. Something needs to be done. We need to figure out some checks-and-balances system that we can put into place that will look out for these types of breakages. Updating one package and pulling out some of the existing instructions, in an attempt to 'better' the instructions, only to find out later that it breaks something else, is something we need to watch out for. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 22:26:01 up 18 days, 8:30, 4 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
