Moving this thread to -dev. I checked out the URL above. Seems simply creating a lib directory in the PRIV SEP directory (/var/lib/sshd in the new instructions) would solve any issues folks might have. I'm handicapped in trying to fight this bug as I simply don't see it. I can interactively use SSH and SCP (no keys, but provide a password) without encountering any issues. So, I'm trying to fight an issue that doesn't exist for me. There's been no other activity about this "issue" that I can see on the OpenSSH lists, and it seems to be centered around an issue with Glibc (what version I don't know). For the time being, perhaps I'll add to the instructions to create a /var/lib/sshd/lib directory and let's just see if folks complain about this problem. I say let's run with the update and see if folks have problems. There doesn't appear to be any activity on the lists about this, but I did notice that 4.1p1 is right around the corner. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 23:19:00 up 2 days, 22:52, 6 users, load average: 0.04, 0.19, 0.12 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
