Well, it doesn't say that anymore. :-) Samba instructions have been, again, completely overhauled. Here's the changes I made (as many as I remember, anyway): 1. Added a Samba-Client page to Chapter 18. 2. Updated the Samba server configuration section with Alex's comments (hopefully, you don't mind some of the changes I made to your text, Alex). 3. Added XFS as an optional dependency. 4. Removed Stunnel as an optional dependency and placed a note to install it in the SWAT configuration section. 5. Added an Stunnel-less SWAT setup section (Jim's comments) 6. Added creating the nobody user and nogroup group to the bootscript installation section. And after all that, hopefully DJ can still recognize something in there that he actually wrote when he first put the instructions in the book. :-) -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 17:35:00 up 64 days, 17:08, 2 users, load average: 0.02, 0.14, 0.08 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
