I see your point, Chris. But asking us to hand-modify each of the 350+ package instructions just to change a few words to perhaps clarify something that only you have a real problem with is a bit much. :-) This was just recently discussed, so perhaps you aren't the only one. Sorry for my poor choice of words. Bottom line is that it was determined, as Bruce said, that the text of: "Install such-and-such by issuing the following commands" command1 command2 command3 "Now, as the root user" command1 command2 command3 Gets the point across to everyone, even if the text could be a bit more descriptive. :-) -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 13:02:00 up 121 days, 12:35, 2 users, load average: 0.90, 0.43, 0.21 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
