Thanks, Jeremy. Now I do recall that being there. However, I believe Bruce pulled it out when all the notes about compiling the kernel DRI stuff was changed. To tell you the truth, I cannot say for sure if the kernel version for the host needs to be the same as for the target when building Xorg/XFree.
