It seems that /usr/include/glob.h does not contain the string rk_glob

andy:~$ grep rk_glob /mnt/lfs/usr/include/glob.h
andy:~$

I've used diff to compare the one compiled with gcc-4 to the glob.h on the host
system (compiled with gcc-3.4.4) and they're identical

Thanks, Andrew. I do not know where to go from here, other than to
rebuild my system and use the sed that forces -fomit-frame-pointer
to the compiling of GCC in Chapter 5 Pass 2 as suggested by Greg
and now in LFS bugzilla. I did not use it in my current build.

Did you use this sed for Chapter 5 GCC Pass 2 compilation? I cannot
figure out what the hell else to look for. Please ensure you used
the stable Glibc-2.3.5 tarball and not a snapshot or previous
version. Thanks in advance for your continued help here, Andrew.

That could be it. I did use that sed and compile gcc-4 with
-fomit-frame-pointer like Greg suggested. Sorry for the deviation.
