My observations:

s/install/installation/

Also, CUPS does not create symlinks in the /etc/rc.d hierarchy, they
are actually files.

Lastly s/with the scripts/with the scripts and symlinks/

These substitutions are actually more accurate.

Understand, DJ, I'm not trying to be a prick here, I just want the
book *right*. Taking an extra few minutes to make things right, to
me, is worth it.
