Had you linked firefox to cairo previously? I think the newer cairo broke mine. I used to have 0.4.x installed and upgraded to 1.0.0 and firefox won't start anymore. I'm trying 1.5b1 since I believe someone said that it works if --enable-system-cairo is specified. Everything else seemed to have survived though, such as GIMP. Firefox linking to Cairo is the only problem I forsee (it uses the old API and won't compile with the newer ones), and that's not really even necessary right now, so I don't see any problem with updating to the newer versions. -- Kevin Jordan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
