I did a full rebuild of LFS with Gnome 2.12. I didn't build tcpwrappers, portmap or fam. Gnome seems to be running fine with Gamin as a replacement for fam. If I open a source folder with nautilus and then run configure in that folder it shows lots of files appearing and disappearing as the script runs. --
