rant This is NOT true in the 3rd world. And it's typical American Colonialism, 'we can afford it, so you should too'. For the record, I am still running a 200 Mhz Pentium MMX as my firewall, and don't plan to retire it any time soon. I also run a 133Mhz laptop, which is perfectly usable. I will resist any attempt to say '(B)LFS is for people who can afford to upgrade their hardware to 2005 (or whatever) American Standards'.
