I remember there were two ways to use gnat for only the ada portion.
This was way back when I had researched the options:
1. Rename the gcc executable in gnat to gnatgcc and add it to the PATH.
2. Use an envar (forgot which one) to help gcc's configure script to find gnat.

In the book, Option 1 was used.

Please revert the change and comment out the note for now. When
building Ch 6, I will see if Option 2 mentioned above can still be
used.
