This is true regardless of the ordering in the book; the central point
is by what criteria the chapters (and packages) should be ordered (if at
all). I think that for BLFS, alphanumerically ordered packages within
each chapter heading is ideal. In any case, it's the links to
dependencies for each package that is most important (see my other post)
and this has been in place since as far back as I can remember.
