In no way, shape or form am a trying to dismiss your suggestions with the following comments. Know this right off the bat. However, here are some thoughts.
Yep. That's all I wanted. Just some feedback. :)
--enable-application=browser is passed from the ./browser/config/mozconfig file. I'm certain we don't need to pass it again. --enable-optimize is set to --enable-optimize if it is not passed. i.e., this is the default. I will find this in my notes, and/or build logs and reply back here. -disable-debug again is the default and is passed by default if nothing is given. I need to find this in my notes and/or build logs and reply back.
Sounds good for the above three. That all makes sense, just didn't know if they had been overlooked.
--enable-update-packaging: I have no clue here. Never seen it used, nor read about it or ever used it myself. Please answer: 1. What does it do? 2. How does it affect/better the build? 3. Why is it passed?
I personally can't answer any of those questions. I would have to research it. I was hoping that someone else might know. :) Anyway, I thought it was worth comparing what the official build configure options are.
