I've never noticed this information, but you're right
(I just test it), and it's quite very interesting.
Thanks a lot.
To simply add a remark, in BLFS, "Going beyond BLFS",
perhaps the line "Add $PREFIX/man to /etc/man.conf or
expand MANPATH" is unuseful. But it's just a little
detail.
