Hello,

what is the preferred form for pointing out that certain known software beyond BLFS may be needed for doing certain tasks in UTF-8 locales?

Examples: BLFS contains no MP3 players that can be configured to show ID3V1 tags correctly in UTF-8 locales, no text-mode news client that supports UTF-8 locales, no FTP server that supports RFC2640,...

Is the approach taken by me with audio utilities (see http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/wiki/AudioUtilities) correct?

In order to save my time, everyone who can edit the BLFS wiki or the book and actually uses the said packages, is welcome to add dependency information and instructions for Audacious Media Player, Beep Media Player, Kaffeine and MOC to the book or to the Wiki.
