Randy, I've got some new DVDs for the kids to do this week. Since my script didn't survive the Mplayer upgrade, I'll give it a go round after I get OOo-2.0.1 done.


P.S. DJ also has a script (that maybe he never meant for public
consumption) for this thing. Could be useful for comparison.  Here's

Actually it was intended for the partially written linux rip guides at doom9.net that I never submitted, well I never completed them. Also try-7 (IIRC) has some dumpaudio issues WRT the first frame of AC3 audio so the script is broken for some DVDs (I haven't seen this issue with previous versions of Mplayer).
