While you're thinking about it, the jumping back and forth leaves room for forgetfullness.
For instance when doing data it says to skip two packages and come back later. WHen doing apps it says to skip luit and come back later to do it.
Now, it's easy forget to actually go back up and install the skipped ones. A reminder note might be nice "now that fonts are installed, go back and install luit, and the two other data packages."
