In reviewing BLFS, one area that is missing is wireless support.
Thoughts? Experiences?
Really no mention of "drivers" needed - there are several in the kernel.
All you really need is the wireless_tools package -

Yes, I have been looking at the link and the kernel, but there are
questions that I haven't been able to answer yet. If using a pcmcia
card, are there other packages needed beyond the drivers in the kernel?
What has to be done, if anything, with regard to hotplug?

Hmm, haven't really thought of pc cards. I know that my laptop's
integrated wireless just works with the kernel driver, though it does
also need firmware (but then that's a hardware-specific thing that
doesn't need to be in BLFS).
