Well thats mixed news I guess is it safe to assume that no work as of yet
has been done for wirelesstools inclusion (based on no presence in the
BLFS-dev book)
if so any ballpark dates when we can start to see the initial workings?

Yes.
as well as maybe ndiswrapper?
Can't promise that. :-)
with perhaps a relevant startup script to be merged into the BLFS
bootscripts package.
If it is warranted and can be used by the majority of wireless
installations. We won't be doing anything that is specific to a
particular card/adapter.
