The error mentioned at <http://archives.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/blfs-support/2006-April/059140.html> still exists in xorg-server-1.1.0. I believe there used to be a sed in the book to fix that. It needs to be put back in.
DJ keeps dropping it by accident. :-) I meant to bring this up when it got left out during the transition to Xorg-7.1. The sanity check + sed is still in Xorg-6.9.0 (look for the grep "__undef_LINUX" part): http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/x/xorg.html I'll put this back in in a day or two. Tushar, go for it if you have time. Just the path needs to change. Just for some history, the error is not in Xorg. The error is in one of the Glibc headers. We now have a fix from upstream in LFS development. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/lfs/development/glibc-2.3.6-linux_types-1.patch Unfortunately, most people aren't going to rebuild glibc on a live system, so this is gonna need to be in for a while. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
