I have a lfs 6.2 system that I built on my computer according to the lfs 6.2 book. The blfs development book says that either AFPL Ghostscript-8.53 or ESP Ghostscript-8.15.2 are required for Gsview-4.7. I originally installed ESP Ghostscript-8.15.2 because I understood from the book that it has support for CUPS, whereas AFPL Ghostscript-8.53 does not. However after installing gsview-4.7 I got the following error when trying to open a postscript file:
I found in the archives about how we're changing the default output from bbox to x11. I'm not sure this change was ever tested through gsview. http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/blfs-dev/2005-December/012466.html Richard, could you try to rebuild ESP again, but leave out the sed about s/bbox/x11/? Also, did you build the shared library, or not? I'm not sure this has been thoroughly tested, either. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
