P.S Just to double check the results, I disconnected my cable line
from the modem and got the same results, so it looks good.
Great, thanks everyone. Sounds like this is pretty generally useful
from what Alexander said, too. For right now, though, I'm just going
to add it to the two DHCP scripts since that's what I can test. If
anyone wants to graft this check into their favorite network script,
please send patches.
