Dear List,
              the page for PDL-2.4.2 in the BLFS live Book
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/pdl.html
(Last updated on 2006-06-21 11:26:07 -0500)
has a broken link for mpeg_decode. This is given
as a dependency for  PDL::IO::Pic

The present link target is
ftp://mm-ftp.cs.berkeley.edu/pub/multimedia/mpeg/encode/
This has now been superseded by
http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/frame/research/mpeg/
This page links to the (alleged) current source code, presently at
http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/ftp/pub/multimedia/mpeg/encode/mpeg_encode-1.5b-src.tar.gz
Confusingly, it alleges that this is for an ftp download (it doesn't look like it to me).
There may be an associated ftp URL, but I haven't found it yet.

Y'all take care now. Only not mine, I need it.

Bernard Leak.
