Hi Dan. This I understand, really. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Subsection: Package-specific errors Glibc compilation errors out due to a missing nss.h header file This usually indicates that you are compiling LFS onto a Reiser4 partition. Unfortunately, there is currently no known solution, other than to use a different type of filesystem. Already discussed yesterday with Alex; after a try his conclusion is that Reiser4 works with LFS-6.2 (based on LiveCD 6.2-5). For Gc I should have read that has been updated to version 6.8 fixing the compilation problem with gcc-4.1.1 so that patch is useless. Ok, I'll add Firefox infos there :) Friendly, L. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
