Hi all, Mostly a note for the archives, but the libxml2 testsuite acted funny on me during a recent install (LFS-SVN-20070210). Instead of using hundreds of MB of disk, it only used 25. Looking at the issue, the new tar command requires --wildcards passed if you have pattern matching in the file name passed to tar.
The libxml2 test suite does not pass this new parameter. I added it to the Makefile in the xstc dir and everything was fine. I'll add a sed to the book to fix this in the libxml2 installation. -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.26] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 10:12:00 up 37 days, 10:26, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.02 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
