Only one package (GSview) comes to my mind. It is normally GTK1-based, and mixing Glib1 and Glib2 in one application normally leads to crashes due to symbol collisions between libraries. But I have not tested this package. IMHO the best course of actions here would be to do what distros do: drop libgs.so, drop GSview, switch to Evince as a lightweight PS/PDF viewer (possibly patched in order to avoid GNOME dependencies, see http://mirror.linux.org.mt/mirror/ubuntu/pool/main/e/evince-gtk/evince-gtk_0.5.2-0ubuntu7.diff.gz). -- Alexander E.
