Well, I was under the impression that Mozilla included an in-tree copy of cairo because of them finding and fixing bugs locally and not wanting to have to wait on new upstream releases before they can benefit from them. If this is still the case, it would be nice if they didn't provide an --enable-system-cairo configure option (or whatever vocabulary they use), but I don't follow development closely enough to know whether they've gone this far or not. I assume glib-2.13.x is unstable? If so, I guess Mozilla are simply anticipating a stable release before they are in a position to release Firefox-3.0? As for libjpeg, libpng and zlib what other versions are there?
