argghh it's so embarassing...
After reviewing the page and install instructions, I have to say:
My fault, completely.
I didn't realise the changes in the install line which now includes
(sic!) the highlighting directory in the ones to copy to
/usr/share/xml/docbook/xsl-stylesheets-1.71.1
Sorry, oversight on my part...
