OK, I haven't looked into this myself, but with Thomas's suggested changes, do you all agree that Robert's patch is good to produce a working KDE-3.5.9? I understand that we may want to revisit Thomas's makefile sed and see if we can get KDE folk to accept an autofoo patch but if this is good for BLFS, I'll get it built and in ASAP.
