Does anything else depend on it? Gnome/KDE? If so, it might be too late to add it for BLFS-6.3, but would be nice to get it there after branching, and if not, then I'm not in a position to say it can go in, but I would think that we could get it on a couple of machines and tested well enough. My PC sets on an APC, but I don't use any daemon to monitor and shut down and what not now.
