Time for me to get back to a 6.3 x86 system (at least it will make a change from fruitless kernel recompiles to try to identify what is biting gdm on my pure64 system). I've picked up #2477 (gnumeric) - it's only a bugfix release, I haven't encountered any of the bugs it fixes but it should probably go in for 6.3, I just need to do the measurements. Meanwhile, after I started to read lwn this morning I've raised some more tickets for security fixes - I've assigned #2494 (xine-lib-1.11), #2495 (firefox-2.0.0.13), #2497 (cups <1.3.5) to myself. For cups I propose to use 1.2.12 with the patches from OpenSuse (I'm using 1.3.6 on one box in a newer system, but I think I changed the instructions - 1.2.12 should just work with the 1.2.11 instructions). I've also raised #2496 (SeaMonkey-1.1.9 - their version of the firefox fixes) - that isn't something I'm familiar with, and I don't use enigmail, so I'm not touching it with the proverbial bargepole. Sorry about adding to the open tickets! ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
