At the risk of upsetting you, "works for me" - I've completed my current desktop (parts of gnome-2.24, parts of kde-4.1.3, various things that aren't in BLFS at the moment) and apart from still having issues with the configure switches in my build of Qt, and needing to test a lot of things to see if they are working, it all looks *very* good.
OK, that's not 100% true, with --enable-buildin-fonts one of the key symbols on xcalc, probably the square root, is garbled but I've given up caring about that: I can't remember when I last needed a square root and the joy of ditching the core fonts is overwhelming. That's a classic YMMV, so please let us know if you've got "issues" with xorg-7.4. ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
