My general assumption was that you would build lesstif after you have built Xorg. Is there something in Xorg Applications that makes use of Lesstif? > Is it worth putting a note on the Lesstif page to > this effect? e.g. under the Recommended deps you'd put > "Xorg Apps (if you run the test suite during the build)", similar to the note > on OpenSSL's page regarding 'bc'. If there is nothing in X that makes use of Lesstif then we could probably change Xorg Libs to the X Window System. Some people may disagree on account of technicality, but I feel that, as a whole, depending upon both Applications and Libs is enough to qualify it as depending upon the X Window System. I just can't think of a situation where someone would want Xorg Libs and Lesstif, but not Xorg. I grant that it's only needed for the test suite, so it's sort of a grey area. What's the opinion on this? Make Xorg Apps recommended with a parenthesis about the test suite or change Xorg Libraries to Xorg.
