Hi Thomas.

Well my problems so far have all been about convincing Xorg-7.5 with
Hal to let me type with my uk keyboard.  It used to be simple in the
old days, but now Hal gets to play, it ain't - and Hal is obsolete too!
I said it was fun.  The notes in Ch23 on setting up keyboards are thus
out of date, but I'm not sure yet if I have the correct solution, so
I've put it in the wiki.

You'd think that the software would be the tricky bit, but the name of
your country!  The United Kingdom  is universally - including US
Immigration - known as uk, but Hal or xorg insist it's gb, for some
reason.  Great Britain is an island of the north coast of France,
country wise it houses England, Wales and Scotland, but not Northern
Ireland, so GB is technically incorrect.  Still, mustn't sound off,
it's not BLFS's fault.
