Well, that gave the new HDD a good break in! 270 SBU and 62GB to build everything internal (except cairo), and packaging all languages (localized versions are packaged separately for each supported language, and twice each, with the ODK and QA Dev test harness). Packaging is the long part here.
I'm not putting those values into the book, just thought I'd share what the packaging system goes through since the values are so large. While technically correct, that's a little extreme. I'll redo the same 'largest possible' build with a single language version instead of packaging it 80 something times. I don't have any sane values yet for SBU or build time. I've built it about 15 times now, about 3 more to go on LFS-6.6 (greatest, smallest, and my choice again with the additional patches from Go-oo which won't be in the book), should have it in the book by Monday evening...then I start over on LFS-6.7 and we should have OOo-3.3 in a month or so. :-) -- DJ Lucas -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content, and is believed to be clean. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
