I never can keep track of which apples are apples and which ones are
oranges, but just in case time happens to include find, du, and other
such operations, I notice that they do seem efficient at caching.
The first find of the day (bootwise) takes a lot longer to find the
same collection than it does on subsequent runs, and similarly with
du.
