 Proof of concept now at
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~ken/tmp/blfs-security-and-distro-changes/
- specifically, some additions to chapter 2 introduction/beyond.html
add '/linux' to google - it seems to cut down some of the
        noise

add links and explanations for some distros - the gentoo
part is a bit unsatisfactory, I can find plenty of lists of
mirrors, but none of them seemed to have the ebuilds and
patches, and the text is a bit iffy (but, who really needs
to understand the full detail of an ebuild?)

added a link to an rpm2cpio script (rpm2targz says it will
use rpm2cpio if it is present) - this version works for
almost all rpm-using distros, except SuSe (they compress
        with bzip2 or lzma)

and additions at the start of chapter 4 (postlfs/security.html).

I've tried not to disrupt what was already in the book, so I just
added the security part into the introductory security comments.

Comments welcome. I've not seen any signs that anyone else who
can edit the book thinks this is worth doing, so maybe this isn't
going to happen.
