a good 10 versions newer then what we have in BLFS (and probably not the latest still), but it looks like there was a change in the kernel headers in one of the recent kernels.
It was not able to find linux/videodev.h an article at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5842235/linux-videodev-h-no-such-file-or-directory-opencv-on-ubuntu-11-04 seem to confirm this.
