I personally don't build two version of Python so I couldn't say. I just
thought I would rebuild my stack against the latest BLFS from scratch to
see if anything broke, and it did. Those packages mentioned above are
the only ones I did before stopping at libxcb. My end result is to build
Gnome and that is heavly depended apon Python. Ubuntu seems to have
multiple versions of Python installed.
