I have sucessfully built gnome 3.4.0 on my machine and have already
upgraded some components in BLFS book. I will start to upgrade some more
components as they get into 3.4.1 which tarballs release is scheduled
for today, tomorrow and Wednesday. For now, I will drop GNOME_PREFIX and
GNOME_SYSCONFDIR while I build and test gnome using my instructions,
since now it is too late to use that for me. I will put it back later
when I can test those instructions since those files are marked with
xinclude. If anyone wants to help, you are welcome.

Also you may see how I've put gobject-introspection as recommends to
many gnome and non gnome packages. That is because gnome-shell requires
lot of introspection data, and I don't know which ones exactly, so I
have to put those on every package that is pre-gnome-shell. Again, if
someone can check which are those, you are welcome.

I will need to add some new components to the book to be able to build
full gnome tough.

I'll try to get gnome 3.4 finished and fully buildable with 3.4.2
release in middle May.

Regards.
