Armin, Thanks for the large amount of work you are doing!
After seeing the upgrade to vte-0.32.1, I did it in my machines and *removed* vte-0.28.2. Problem is that terminator-0.96 stopped working, because could not find vte python bindings (python-vte, installed by PyGTK). Reinstalling vte-0.28.2, everything is fine (I had missed previous vte-0.30.1). Now both are installed, just in case... I noticed that both vte versions have only 1 shared file (although can't tell that the shared file is common with each other or with other package), and vte version size in disk number of files 0.28.2 2.7 MB 140 0.32.1 2.5 MB 134 Searching about this problem, I discovered that: vte-0.28.2: Virtual Terminal Emulator widget for use with *GTK2* vte-0.30.1: Virtual Terminal Emulator widget for use with *GTK3* Therefore, as with gtk+ itself, python, gtkmm and other packages, isn't this a case for two versions in the book? -- []s, Fernando -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
