FYI, I'm starting the remaining packages by working backwards through my changes from March where I changed glib2 dependencies to pkgconfig. Well, for those that are still in the book. After that I'll go back to when the impact of not building pkgconfig in LFS first caused changes in BLFS - probably November or December, but I need to look at the mail archives - and work forward. ISTR that the *main* changes fall into this category. Finally, I'll look at packages added since my March changes were done : I've got a list, haven't checked if any of them even mention pkgconfig. If anyone cares about changing a package's dependency from pkgconfig to glib2, please feel free. Otherwise, I'll complete these eventually, but I don't regard it as an urgent priority.
