 Since I'm not doing any editing or development at the moment, I
have no objection.  When I looked at the ffmpeg downloads the other
day, I discovered that there are some recent updates to previous
versions.  When I do get back to development, I'll take a deeper
look at building an old ffmpeg (0.10.latest) for transcode - I think
I documented my previous "works for me" version a few months ago on
this list, but I wasn't wholly convinced that I'd got it using the
right (old) headers - perhaps I wasi just lucky.

 If I do get it to a decent state, perhaps a hint would be better
than again reinstating it in the book.
