I will again hide my copies of the programs it looks for (latex and dvips) and run configure, make, and make install again. I know for a fact that it is fine if Tex *is* installed. If it doesn't barf when TeX is not found, I will remove the --disable-latex parameter. If it does barf, then I will add something to the Command Explanations.
