Just notice that after this reply, have not tested ant dependency. Have some questions, before proceeding. Building with book's config switches, version is displayed like this (both 32bit): $ java -version java version "1.7.0_40" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.1) (linux-gnu build 1.7.0_40-b31) OpenJDK Server VM (build 24.0-b50, mixed mode) I use to add two other switches: --with-pkgversion='7u40-2.4.1-blfs' --with-version-suffix=blfs With that: $ java -version java version "1.7.0_40-blfs" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.1) (7u40-2.4.1-blfs) OpenJDK Server VM (build 24.0-b50, mixed mode) The 7u40 is the format used by Oracle and is the only way support people for those sites I have to use understand (two of them are from federal government part-owned companies). It is the way some distributions do. Could we add those switches to the book? The 64bit image I have from last week is with the two switches. The 32bit image I have is without, is as in the book. So, I need to build another image. But that depends on your reply to question above. -- []s, Fernando -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
