You might like to use wget's '-Q' ('--quota') option for testing if urls are
ok:
if just testing url(s) non-recursively (which I'd guess is likely the case
here),
then you'll likely need to input them via '-i' option, per manpage-wget.
(('--no-cache' useful too.))
