Reading the text of this page says:
"A binary version of the TeX Live package is installed at
install-tl-unx. Here, we use that to rebuild the compiled programs from
source."
...
"These instructions will overwrite the corresponding files from the
binary installer."
However install-tl-unx is not listed as any dependency. Is it a
dependence of the source build? If so, is is required, recommended, or
optional?
