In the book it says that wayland-1.5.0 is optional when building libva-1.3.1
If I follow the book when configuring libva-1.3.1, I get
checking for WAYLAND... no
checking for pkg-config... (cached) /bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for WAYLAND_SCANNER... no
configure: error: Package requirements (wayland-scanner) were not met:
No package 'wayland-scanner' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
