New build seems to be working perfectly, and i'm at the same point when I noticed the problems yesterday. All tests suggested by Bruce and Armin passed, actually, locale -a displays what was missing: pt_BR.utf8 (don't know how it is named), but then LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8 seems to work fine. gunzip is there, POSIX shell script, ASCII text executable. Second time I have problems when using jhalfs with optimization (4 parallel jobs, not in final make, but in make for configuration). Lesson learned. Probably it is some package that doesn't like it, not jhalfs fault. Just to build LFS for (B)LFS testing, a good amount of time is saved disabling the tests, so I agree with you, Bruce. It took a while to respond, because I am investigating something in tcl, but if necessary, this will be another specific thread for tcl, not problem of LFS. Next time I have such a problem, will choose LFS support list. Sorry for occupying this space with now is clearly an OT thread. Thank you very much, Armin and Bruce. -- []s, Fernando -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
